Participants in the Angel's Gate series will be using Microsoft's Office 365. The show will debut on Channel News Asia on 6 February. The premise of Angel's Gate is to provide viewers with an inside look into the highly competitive environment surrounding entrepreneurs, start-ups, venture capitalists and angel investors. Entrepreneurs in the series will use Office 365 in their start-up office environments. "For all startups, their journey starts with their pitch. The PowerPoint sharing feature in Office 365 is an essential startup tool," said founder and CEO of Angel's Gate Ash Singh.

"In the creation of Angel's Gate, my PowerPoint presentation powered by Office 365 allowed me the flexibility to evolve my pitches quickly to achieve my business goals," he said. "Office 365 is almost an essential need for aspiring entrepreneurs and businesses today."

With Office 365 for small businesses, small groups and companies with fewer than 25 employees can be up and running with Office Web Apps, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync and an external website in just 15 minutes, with powerful cloud-based tools -- at only US$6 per user, per month. "Office 365 gives entrepreneurs the ability to remain flexible with their IT systems and allows them to grow or scale back as required. They only pay for the computing they use rather than maintaining all their computing needs and resources themselves," he added.

"This partnership will empower Asian entrepreneurs with the tools and solutions to transform their business through better communication, collaboration and rich presence," said Simon Mouyal, regional director of small medium business and cloud marketing for Microsoft Asia Pacific.

"With Office 365, entrepreneurs now have the power to think big and be small, to be big and act fast as Cloud Technologies, especially Office 365, is a very powerful business enabler," added Mouyal.
The Angel's Gate series can also be viewed throughout the world through their  and participation is open to contestants throughout Asia and all over the world. As it stands, Angel's Gate is already open to participation for Season 2.

To get a chance at being awarded funding to kickstart their business ideas, entrepreneurs submit their business idea online first; garner support for their ideas from the public and then the most popular entrepreneurs will be selected to give a 30 second elevator pitch to one of the judges. If they successfully convince the judge in the elevator pitch, they will then only be able to pitch their idea to all four judges at the same time.
